Their main goal will be bringing affordable Internet access to the world. All seven companies will work together to create cheap high-quality smartphones and affordable Internet access.
Internet.org will have three major goals to fulfill: 1) Provide the rest of the world with affordable Internet access; 2) Improve network's efficiency, and 3) Help businesses develop mobile business models. According to experts, this strategy of bringing connection to the entire world may benefit everyone, especially the smartphone makers. By getting 5 more billion people online, the mobile market will most definitely feel the positive benefits of such altruistic campaign.
